Annual Meetings

The Ministry Budget Annual Meeting will be held Sunday, January 7^th at 11:30am. Please join us for this important meeting that sets the financial parameters of our ministries.

The Annual Congregational Meeting and Potluck (bring a dish to pass) will be held Sunday, January 28^th at 11:30am. At this meeting we will be electing council representatives, delegates to our synod assembly, approving the treasurer’s report, & other important congregational business. Please join us for this time of fellowship & prayerful deliberation on the direction for our mission & ministries.

Heaven: Finding Our True Home
Heaven is hard for us to picture. We think of floating on clouds and playing harps or walking on streets of gold. While we know we want to go there, we are a little nervous about what it will be like. This study provides us with a biblical perspective on heaven-something richer and more exciting than we could even imagine. We’ll meet Wednesday mornings at 9:30 AM for 8 weeks beginning Jan 17th. Please join us, beginners and seasoned studiers alike, even if committing to every week is tough. Come as you can! Questions? Contact Kathy Eaton, 892-7608. Plant a Tree! Lutherdale has lost many of their beautiful oak trees in the last few years due to Oak Wilt. Another 20 trees are scheduled to come down in 2007. The camp also has a large number of ash trees that are dying. Planting new and different trees will ensure that Lutherdale keeps a healthy forest. If you are interested, please ask Pastor Jim for a “Plant a Tree” brochure.

Mark your calendar now for the upcoming Respect Life Rally which will be held on January 21 at North High School. During this most holy season it is fitting that we focus on the importance of each human life and our responsibility to defend it.
