Seeking Treasure

In Christ we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace. Ephesians 1:7

Our Vacation Bible School theme this year is “Treasure Cove”, & we will be taking our Treasure Seekers on a journey to discover that Jesus is OUR GREATEST TREASURE. The Treasure Cove Bible verse says, In Jesus “we have…the riches of God’s grace.” GRACE can be defined as “God’s riches at Christ’s expense” Notice that the first letter of each word spells out GRACE.

Jesus, God’s treasured Son, became poor to make us rich. Jesus paid a great price to forgive our sin. In him, God gives us many priceless riches, including forgiveness of sins, joy, peace, & a home in heaven. Jesus treasures us. He is with us in His Word & Sacraments, in good times or bad times. He will never leave us.

The Children’s Ministry Team & Vacation Bible School Team will hold a Brat Fry fundraising dinner before the first Wednesday night summer service on June 21st at 5:30 pm. Weather permitting the dinner will be held in the parking lot. The money from that dinner will go to purchase materials for our VBS mission project.

Anyone interested in helping with Vacation Bible School is invited to attend the next planning meeting on Monday, May 8th at 7:00 pm.

Vacation Bible School will be held at Redeemer July 17-21st from 6 pm-8 pm.
